About Your Tattoo Artist

Cei Lambert (he/him/his) is an artist, educator, and activist. Cei was born and raised in Colorado, where easy access to the outdoors helped him develop a deep love for the natural world. Pursuing this love, Cei studied Wildlife Biology and Art, receiving a BS in Wildlife Biology and both a BFA and MFA in Fine art from Colorado State University.
Cei has held many roles in his varied career, including adjunct art professor, loom builder in a factory, public health worker, diversity program director, and much more. Cei believes that paid work is just one part of his career, and he volunteers his time in public health, accessible outdoor adventure, and wildlife rehabilitation.
Cei has shown his fine art in a variety of galleries nationwide, and continues his fine art practice alongside his tattoo work. . In 2020, Cei decided to open Meadowlark Tattoo as a studio devoted to making great tattoos while prioritizing serving people who have historically been excluded or discriminated against in tattoo spaces.
